Into Business Scheme was started in 1996 as a result of the local community identifying a serious need to help the long term unemployed in a district of Huddersfield. It was felt that many of those people could benefit from being able to try out self-employment as an alternative to trying to find a job given some of the barriers they faced. Huddersfield Into Business Scheme was launched as a community enterprise to do just that - help people into business! Nowadays it would be called a Social Enterprise and the people at IBS understand all about working in that arena. IBS is currently drawing uo its Social Accounts and the Managing Director is a registered SAN auditor.

IBS can assist your Social Enterprise in many ways including giving advice to those setting up a Social Enterprise, training staff to operate a Social Enterprise. We can also train people to draw up your social accounts and also provide the audit package to suit your requirements. Because we have been involved in Social Enterprise since 1996 we understand the issues and can empathise with staff and ensure they receive sympathetic and thorough training.
